Guangdong Implements Energy-Saving Dispatch to Save 2,625,800 Tons of Standard Coal

Guangdong implemented energy-saving dispatch for three years, saving 2,625,800 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 5,797,700 tons. Guangdong Power Grid Co., Ltd. has taken the lead in energy-saving dispatching, power-saving services, and the construction of electric vehicle charging and exchanging power stations, becoming a "green platform" for economic development. Since 2008, the Guangdong Power Grid has carried out energy-saving dispatching operations. In addition to the reduction of standard coal and carbon dioxide emissions, the reduction in carbon dioxide dioxide emissions by the disinfec- tion device is 967,400 tons.

In addition to implementing energy-saving scheduling, Guangdong Power Grid proposed energy-saving suggestions for 25,000 new power projects, written notifications for energy conservation to 136,000 energy-efficient customers, and organized customers to carry out 128 contract energy management projects. The customer saved about 441 million kWh.
