3 Piston and cylinder clearance: Place the cylinder block sideways, assemble the piston rods without the piston ring to assemble the corresponding cylinders, and tighten the bearing nuts of each connecting rod with the torque of 30N·m as required. First check the distance between each side of the small end of the connecting rod and the end face of the piston pin seat, generally not less than 1.00mm. If it is less than 1.00mm, it is mostly caused by the offset of the center line of the cylinder. Then turn the crankshaft to see that the piston moves in the cylinder. When the piston is at the top and bottom dead centers and the middle of the cylinder, the gap difference should not exceed 0.1 mm. Otherwise, the cause should be identified for correction. Before installing the piston ring, first check the opening clearance of the ring in the cylinder and the backlash of the ring. Wipe the selected piston and piston ring, and use piston ring pliers to assemble the piston ring to the corresponding piston ring groove of each cylinder. Look for the side of the piston ring facing up. Use the piston ring pliers to install the oil ring, the second air ring, and the first air ring. Add a small amount of lubricating oil, the ports of the three piston rings are offset by 120°, in case the openings overlap, the mixture gas is inserted into the crankcase from the opening, which affects the power of the engine and the quality of the lubricating oil. The three-way oil ring must be equipped with special tools to avoid breakage. The pistons are grouped according to the outer diameter of the non-piston pins on the upper part of the piston. After grouping, they are matched with the cylinder diameter. The outer diameter of the piston should be smaller than the cylinder diameter by 0.08~0.10mm.
4. Key technologies in engine testing
When the engine reliability is detected, the engine is generally subjected to a thermal test for 30 to 50 hours and then disassembled. The surface finish of the parts required to be dismantled shall be guaranteed to be unchanged from before assembly, and the working surfaces shall not be subject to wear, burns, strains, cracks, etc.; at the same time, the oil pressure, intake pressure and signal timing meet the design requirements. The fit of the initial product can be improved appropriately, and some of the key core components, including the initial selection of the ECU core control system, can be replaced; the domestic parts are gradually replaced. In the assembly, the assembly clearance is mainly controlled. During the running-in test of the engine, three engines are selected to perform the different working conditions for a certain period of time, and then the demolition is performed. Check the wear and tear of the parts, disassembly and inspection: wear and tear of different working conditions, oil film, gap change comparison; combustion conditions; vibration characteristics and noise emissions, etc., to determine its reliability.
When performing the running-in test, it is necessary to use the variable working condition for testing, different speeds and different loads, and it is to be carried out under more severe conditions than water. The dynamometer uses different speed conditions, high and low idle speed, rated speed, rated power and rated torque at five points to test the oil pressure and temperature, intake and exhaust pressure and temperature, cooling water temperature, speed, torque, power and so on. After solving the reliability problem, select 3 to 5 engines to carry out endurance tests for different working conditions including water driving. After checking the gas path, oil circuit, water circuit, circuit, etc. to meet the test conditions, disassemble and decompose the fatigue and wear. .
