Thirdly, it is the stage of high efficiency and flexibility from the 1990s to the beginning of the 21st century. This mainly solves the problem of high productivity in the automobile manufacturing and other industries under varying varieties and mass production conditions.
The fourth stage is the composite reconfigurable stage from the beginning of the 21st century to the present. In this stage, the composite machine tool takes advantage of the concentration of the processing technology, and completes all the processing on one machine tool, which greatly reduces the time for transmission and the reduction. The installation error increases efficiency and accuracy.
