It can be used for styrene resins such as ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer resin) and polystyrene, polyamide resins, and various resins used in electronic products and automobiles.
Although the original phosphorus-based flame retardant can exhibit flame-retardant effects on polyester resins such as polycarbonate and PET (polyethylene terephthalate), it is difficult to impart high styrene-based resins and polyamide-based resins. Flame retardant. In addition, there is a problem that heat resistance is reduced after adding a phosphorus-based flame retardant. Unlike FCX-210, not only in polycarbonate and polyester resins, but also in styrenic resins and polyamide resins, flame retardancy can be improved by adding a small amount, while maintaining heat resistance.
The FCX-210 is currently in sample delivery and is scheduled to be available in the spring of 2014. Teijin will expand its product line by adding the phosphorus flame retardant FCX-210 to the previously sold brominated flame retardants, and expand its use centered on the electronics and automotive markets.
