Common fault handling method of wireless network bridge in wireless monitoring system

In wireless monitoring systems, wireless bridges are common transmission equipment. The convenience of wireless bridges is obvious to all. Replacing cables with it to achieve wireless transmission has become a consensus. But there are uses, for subjective and objective reasons, it is always inevitable that there will be a faulty situation. When a fault occurs, you need to carefully investigate. The following lists some common faults and their solutions.

One: The local computer can not be connected directly to the bridge
1: Check if the computer and the bridge are within the same network segment
2: Check whether the network cable between the computer and the POE module, and between the POE module and the bridge is normal (1.2.3.6 data transmission, 4.5 / 7.8 transmission power, including 4.5 positive pole and 7.8 negative pole)
If the above two items are no problem, restart the computer or clear the cache and IE browsing records, clear the cache command (arp -d)
Two: normal communication between bridges
1: Determine whether the cable is connected correctly.
2: Check whether the frequency settings of the bridges on both sides are on the same channel.
3: Judging by statistical RSSI (CCQ) and signal strength. (The RSSI signal value is higher than 70%), (the signal strength is stable between -50 and -70 is better), if the signal strength is sufficient but the RSSI value is low, it indicates that there is interference, by changing the frequency to obtain a better RSSI value.
4: Make sure that the same passkey is used in the connection between the two bridges.
5: Check whether the communication antenna of the bridge is aligned.
6: Whether the MAC addresses of the master station and the client are set correctly.

Three: If the performance of the bridge in communication is not good ( high packet drop rate ), you can check a series of matters :
1: Check whether it is within the effective communication coverage of the antenna.
2: Make sure the antennas are aligned with each other.
3: Make sure there are no obstacles between the two points.
4: Make sure that there is no radio transmitter on the edge of the bridge, if necessary, the antenna needs to be shifted.
5: Check whether a channel with a frequency too close is used to cause a high packet loss rate. If you need to change another channel.
6: Ping the IP address to confirm whether it is successful.
7: Check if the network cable is too long
8: If the bridge and the computer are forwarded by the switch, reduce the link forwarding of the switch, and directly connect the bridge and the test computer
9: During one-to-one or one-to-many transmission, check whether the data packet to be transmitted is larger than the bandwidth provided by the bridge itself.
4. The above measures have no effect
After the above methods, the wireless bridge still does not work properly. At this time, you can restart the device or restore the factory settings. If it still cannot be solved, do not open the device without permission and return the device to the factory for repair.
