More than 300 tailings warehouses in China realize online monitoring

According to the national database of tailings database established by the National Science and Technology Support Program “Stages of tailings risk classification and monitoring, early warning technology”, China has 11,946 tailings deposits. As of the end of 2011, there were more than 300 tailings stores installed on-line monitoring systems throughout the country.
