Modified additive modification car gear carburizing and quenching

A factory in the imported multi-purpose furnace carburized and quenched the automobile gear produced by the factory, and began to use a graded quenching oil of a company in the United States. After more than a year, it was found that the quenching hardness of the carburized and quenched gears was significantly reduced, and at the same time, the quenching deformation was also increased.

After excluding the influence of other factors, it was found that the cooling rate distribution of the classified quenching oil used was significantly different from that of the new oil. Compared with the unused new oil, the old oil after more than one year (with normal addition) has a shorter vapor film stage, a higher maximum cooling rate, and a significantly higher temperature at which the maximum cooling rate occurs.

If it is more common in the past, the old oil is a more ideal quenching oil that meets the requirements of "high temperature and cold, low temperature and low temperature". However, in such old oils, the quenching effect is more deformed and the hardness is lower, which is not as good as the "unsatisfactory" new oil.

The old oil has a lower cooling rate than the new oil in the middle and low temperature stage, and at this stage its ridge speed curve enters the third (ie insufficient) cold speed zone, so the quenching hardness is low.
Beijing Huali Fine Chemical Co., Ltd. carried out a political additive transformation on the old oil of the plant, which increased the cooling rate of the cooling rate of the old oil of the plant to a level slightly higher than that of the original new oil.

The production application shows that the quenching hardness of the gear is significantly improved after quenching in the thus modified old oil. The amount of deformation is also less than or equal to the original new oil.
