Blanking process and die design for narrow-edge parts

I. Overview

For ordinary blanking, the minimum wall thickness between the contours of the holes on the part to be punched according to the technical requirements, or the minimum lap width, shall satisfy a ≥ (1.5 ~2) t, t is the material thickness. However, in the production practice, some special cases or parts of narrow-edge parts are often encountered, which cannot meet the requirements of this process, that is, the edge size of the parts is close to or smaller than the limit size, so the punching process and the mold structure should be considered. Corresponding measures to ensure the size of the part and the service life of the mold can smoothly carry out the punching process.

The 4-Φ7mm on it is the bolt fastener connection hole, which is close to the inner contour and the wall thickness is only 1.25mm. , obviously does not meet the technical requirements. If a general single-step composite mold is used for the blanking method, the wall thickness at the corresponding position of the convex-concave mold is thin, the strength is insufficient, and cracks are generated during the heat treatment, and scraping is not performed, and the punching of the parts cannot be achieved.
