The die steel is oxidized under different oxidizing atmosphere, steam pressure, temperature and holding time to obtain a surface oxide film with different ratios of Fe3O4 and Fe3O3 components. The thickness, density, thermal fatigue resistance and anti-melting loss of the obtained oxide layer are different. And welding performance is also different.
