The combined fixture has been successfully applied in the mechanical cutting industry, but it is basically a blank in the welding industry. Demmeler (Demmeler) invented the combined 3D welding workbench in the production process of its own various structural parts processing, and gradually invented the self-contained use to supply to each line. Users of all industries. In just 10 years, it has been widely used in more than 7,000 famous European and American companies. This technology has been patented in Europe, the United States and China.
First, three-dimensional combined welding and clamping system
The three-dimensional combined clamping system is composed of a table top in the form of a perforated grid plate and various functional modules, and the apertures are two series of φ28mm and φ16mm. The table top can be equipped with various functional modules as needed to form various positioning and clamping functions. In addition to the table top, the module also has right angle blocks, columns, positioning blocks, arbitrary angle adjustment blocks, V-shaped blocks, pins and various quick clamps and auxiliary modules. The module is also equipped with holes or rods of φ28mm and φ16mm, which can be fitted to each Other or fastened with pins. Its design concept is clever and multi-purpose.
Countertop
The countertop is in the form of a perforated panel. On the upper surface and the side surface of the high-precision mesa, a circular hole (D28 series) of φ28 mm is evenly distributed every 100 mm, or a circular hole (D16 series) of φ16 mm is evenly distributed every 50 mm, and the dimension line is drawn at the same interval. There are millimeter tick marks on the edges. These round holes can be used to splicing positioning modules and fixtures for various functions. The table size ranges from 500mm x 1000mm to 2000mm x 4000mm, and can be combined into any size and strip shape as needed (see Figure 1). The support feet of the table top are standard feet, telescopic feet, moving wheel feet, fixed feet and scissor lift feet to meet various needs. This series of elaborate design provides users with great convenience.
A pin for fastening between modules has a patent for invention. The pin of φ28mm or φ16mm is equipped with five concentric steel balls (see Figure 2). When the pin is loosened, the ball automatically retracts inside the pin, and the pin can be easily inserted or withdrawn from the hole in the system. After inserting, gradually tighten the head, then the steel ball gradually protrudes, the pin automatically centers and clamps the module. Finally, tighten with a hand wrench to achieve a clamping force of 50kN and a shearing force of 250kN. At the same time, depending on the application, various lengths, as well as countersunk head bolts, are also designed.
Right angle blocks can be used for stopping, straightening, building three-dimensional structures and extending work surfaces. The large right-angle block is also equipped with a chute with a width of 28mm or 16mm, which can be slid back and forth, up and down, and fastened with pins at any desired position.
4. Column
Columns of various lengths have 4 or 5 working faces, and the working face is equipped with system holes of φ28mm or φ16mm. The column can be used to construct a three-dimensional structure or to cooperate with a table to form various shaped countertops.
5. Fixture
A wide variety of fixtures can be adapted to the following three occasions:
(1) The cantilever clamp has three kinds of 180°, 90°, and 45° according to the insertion direction and the clamping force direction of the clamp. According to the type of clamping handle, there are manual spiral type, quick clamping type, short hexagonal screw type and the like.
(2) Compensating the cantilever clamp Since the clamp is on the table surface in the form of inserting the round rod into the hole, the gap between the rod holes and the slight flexibility of the clamp itself make the clamp have a tendency to deflect the workpiece during the clamping process. To prevent this deflection, Daimler invented a patent for compensating the cantilever fixture (see Figure 3). The clamp increases the elastic expansion and contraction in the cantilever, and the lateral component force during clamping is dissipated to compensate the deformation of the clamp itself and the gap during the insertion process, so as to ensure that the clamping force of the clamp is consistent with the clamping direction.

The large right-angle block is also equipped with a chute with a width of 28mm or 16mm, which can be slid back and forth, up and down, and fastened with pins at any desired position.

(2) Application example 2 Figure 5 shows a famous automobile factory using Daimler tooling in developing a new car. The entire car's frame is positioned and clamped with Daimler tooling. The purpose of this is that the size of the model itself is not large, the dedicated assembly line is not economical; the other is to find the best clamping process for the mass production of the welding production.
Of course, due to the flexibility of the Dyme 3D tooling, its application examples are numerous. It can be easily realized for the positioning of a relatively simple planar member, a three-dimensional frame, a box, etc. during welding. Even more complex components can actually be achieved by step welding. This not only achieves the convenience of operation, but also greatly improves the utilization of the workbench. Practice has proved that the three-dimensional combined welding and clamping system can be applied in most of the welding process according to the user's full imagination.
