Wind power operation and maintenance technology analysis

At present, the stand-alone capacity of domestic wind turbines has grown from the initial tens of kilowatts to several hundred kilowatts or even megawatts today. Wind farms have also grown from the initial installed capacity of hundreds of kilowatts to large-scale wind farms with tens of thousands of kilowatts and even hundreds of thousands of kilowatts of installed capacity. As the installed capacity of wind farms gradually increases and the proportion in power grids continues to rise, the scientific operation and maintenance management of large-scale wind farms has gradually become a new topic. The main task of wind farm operation, maintenance, and management is to improve the availability of wind turbines and the reliability of power supply through scientific operation and maintenance management, so as to ensure that the power quality of the electric field output meets the relevant standards for national power quality. The nature and production characteristics of wind farms determine that operation and maintenance management must be based on safe production, with scientific and technological advances as the guide, equipment management as the focus, comprehensive improvement of personnel quality as guarantee, and efforts to improve the social and economic benefits of enterprises. .

Main contents of wind farm operation

The main contents of the operation of wind farms include two parts, namely the operation of wind turbines and the operation of booster substations and associated transmission and transformation facilities in the field. Work should be carried out in accordance with the standards of DL/T666-1999 Wind Farm Operating Procedures.

I. Operation of wind turbines

The daily operation of wind turbines mainly includes: through the monitoring computer of the central control room, monitoring the changes of various parameters of wind turbines and their operating status, and completing the “wind farm operation log” according to the regulations. When the abnormal trend is found, the monitoring status of the unit is continuously monitored through the monitoring mode of the monitoring program, and corresponding measures are taken according to the actual situation. In the event of a routine failure, the maintenance personnel shall be notified promptly, inspected and handled in accordance with the meteorological conditions at that time, and corresponding troubleshooting records and quality records shall be made on the “Dynamic Operation Log of Wind Farms”. For unconventional failures, relevant departments shall be notified in a timely manner. And actively deal with the solution.

The wind farm shall establish a regular inspection system. The operating personnel shall bear the direct responsibility for the safe and stable operation of the monitoring wind farm. They shall go to the site on a regular basis and perform visual inspections and other intuitive methods to inspect the operating conditions of the wind turbine generator. It should be noted that all outbound work (including inspections, start-stop wind turbines, failure inspections, etc.) requires two or more persons for safety reasons. The inspection work mainly includes whether the wind turbine generator has abnormal sound during operation, the status of blade operation, whether the yaw system is operating normally, and whether the tower surface has oil trace contamination or the like. In the inspection process, we must focus on checking the units that are re-operated after fault treatment according to the actual situation of the equipment in the near future, focusing on checking the units that start and stop frequently, focusing on checking the heavy-duty and high-temperature units, and focusing on checking sick running. The unit will focus on checking the newly commissioned units. If any hidden trouble is found, it shall be promptly reported and handled to find out the reasons so as to avoid accidents and reduce economic losses. At the same time in the "wind farm operating log" do a good job in the corresponding inspection records.

When the weather conditions change abnormally (such as high wind speed, bad weather, etc.), if the unit is abnormally operated, the contents and times of the inspection inspection shall be analyzed and determined according to the situation at that time. When weather conditions are not suitable for outdoor patrols, the monitoring of the unit's operating conditions should be strengthened in the central monitoring room. Through the comparison of the main parameters of temperature, output, speed, etc., determine the measures to deal with.

Second, the operation of power transmission facilities

Due to the special requirements of wind farms for environmental conditions, under normal circumstances, the natural environment surrounding the electric field is relatively poor and the geographical location is often relatively remote. This requires that power transmission facilities should fully consider the impact of high temperature, severe cold, high wind speed, dust storms, salt fog, snow, ice, lightning, and other adverse meteorological conditions on power transmission and transformation facilities. Under the premise of meeting the relevant standards of the power industry, the selected equipment should aim at the characteristics of wind power generation and strive to achieve reliable performance, simple structure, convenient maintenance and convenient operation. At the same time, fire and communication problems should also be solved so as to improve the safety of wind farm operation.

Due to the geographical distribution of transmission and distribution facilities of wind farms is relatively decentralized, the equipment load changes greatly, the regularity is not strong, and the meteorological conditions are often poor when the equipment is under high-load operation, which requires the operators to work in daily operations. Strengthen inspections. During inspections, appropriate inspection, protection and lighting equipment should be provided to ensure the normal operation of the work.

The following standards shall be implemented for the operation of transformers and auxiliary facilities, power cables, overhead lines, communication lines, lightning protection facilities, and boosted substations in the field of wind farms:

SD292-1988 "Operational Rules for Overhead Distribution Lines and Equipment (Trial)"

DL/T 572-1995 "Power Transformer Operation Regulations"
